Sherown Campbell

Adversity is a Gift!

Sherown was injured January of 2014 while wrestling with a friend. This freak accident fractured his C4 and C5 vertebrae, leaving him paralyzed from the shoulders down as a quadriplegic. He spent the next year in an intensive therapy program at Craig Hospital called Neuro Recovery Network (NRN). This coupled with integrative therapies at Chanda Plan Foundation got him to where he could begin adapting workouts at home. His incredible attitude and work ethic have allowed him to recover far beyond any expectations. He continues to defy odds today.

Education, work, volunteering

Sherown worked as Solutions Analyst before completing his Masters in Software Engineering and digging into development, design, and Blockchain technology. When he's not involved in technology, he's helping people reach their fitness goals, leading others through adversity, and public speaking.

My San Diego Hospital Stay

I was at a hospital in San Diego for two weeks but really only remember the last week at best. Yet still, there are so many things that I can share.  I guess I can start with and try to limit this post to only the hospital and treatment while I was there.  The nurses…
